I don't have a definite answer, because there are a few possibilities:
- You got subscribed to the bug somehow.

- You might have subscribed to the package tracking system.
See http://packages.qa.debian.org/g/gutenprint.html; the
subscription section lets you unsubscribe.
- You might be subscribed to the debian-printing mailing list. This
gets all the bug reports for this package.
These are in order of decreasing likelihood.
If you still have trouble, I suggest asking the Debian BTS
administrators <owner@bugs.debian.org>
