After some discussion with upstream, I have applied a patch which
adjusts the margins slightly. Please could you give it a try?
I have attached the .diff.gz and .dsc. Please could you build and
install the packages? You'll also need
http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gutenprint/gutenprint_4.3.99+cvs20060521.orig.tar.gz
Once you have saved the .orig.tar.gz, the .dsc and .diff.gz, unpack
with
$ dpkg-source -x gutenprint_4.3.99+cvs20060521-3.dsc
change into the gutenprint directory, and then run
$ debuild -us -uc
or
$ dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -us -uc
You'll need to ensure the build dependencies listed in debian/control
are also installed.
Once you have installed the newly built libgutenprint2 and gimp-print
packages, you can check if the problem is fixed or is still present.
