Bug#367437: gs uses unreasonable amount of memory on sealspamphlet_EN.pdf

Package: gs
Version: 8.50-1.1
Severity: normal

Hi,
Using pdf2ps to convert this file:
http://www.rolmfg.com/media/pdf/sealspamphlet/sealspamphlet_EN.pdf
results in a gs process using nearly 1GB of memory at its peak. This
will put most systems into swap and then the job never completes.
