Package: gimp-print
Version: 4.3.99+cvs20060121.dfsg.1-1
Severity: important

When I try to print from the GIMP I get a preview, which I can scale
and rotate fine. However, the output does not correspond to the preview at
all - it's always rotated 90° from the preview but and scaled down to
fit.

So if I print an A4-sized image in portrait mode, I get a smaller 90°
rotated image on the left half of the page, right side blank.

If I print in landscape mode I get the right orientation, but it takes up
only about a quarter of the page.

This is with maximum scaling, everything else is smaller still.

Printer is networked and has PS3 emulation, accessed via cups/ipp.

Thanks,

C.

I'm terribly sorry - some kind of n-up feature was active in
lpoptions, which kind of explains the gimp-print behaviour.

It would be nice if gimp-print offered an option to control the n-up
feature from the GUI, considering that one wants it off mostly, when
printing graphics.

But then, maybe it does that when one specifies the PPD in gimp-print
as well as in CUPS.

Thanks,

C.
