Version: 3.8.27
Severity: normal

Hi,

Since 3.8.25, LPRng does not create a control file in its spool
directories any more. However, it still mentions it in the hold file,
and passes its name to various filters. Some, for example printbill
which I happened to try out, are not happy with this and choke when
trying to open that non-existent control file.

Regards, Jens.

This is not really a bug but just a difference how LPRng handles its
control files. With a few configuration paramters you can get a
similiar result to what it was doing before.
