Bug#335597: hplip should require hpijs

Package: hplip
Version: 0.9.2-2
Severity: normal

I may be mistaken, but isn't hpijs a necessity to use hplip? Is there
any use for hplip without hpijs?

Upon setting up a hp5550 inkjet printer, CUPS reports this :

++++++++++++++++

- note that Ghostscript needs the 'plugin' hpijs. Hewlett Packard states
that hpijs is contained in hplip (from
  http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/faqs.php ):
-------
  Q. Why are there two drivers?
  A. HPIJS is provided to provide basic printing support for the largest
number of devices. It can operate in any spooler environment
(including no spooler). HPLIP, which includes HPIJS, adds
bi-directional I/O (via a CUPS backend), scanning, photo card access,
and toolbox functionality to the basic HPIJS driver. HPLIP requires
  the CUPS spooler.
--------

>From 'dpkg -L hpijs' and 'dpkg -L hplip' it seems that hpijs is only in
package hpijs. 'apt-get install hplip' doesn't mention hpijs as
suggested package.

apt-get'ting hpijs fixed the problem, both CUPS and the command line to
'gs' that the CUPS-log shows above, prints out as required.

SOLUTION: If I'm right, hplip should require hpijs

 Best regards, Henning Petersen
