Hi,
we are using SuSe Linux SLES9 and want to distribute the /etc/printcap via NIS.
Our lpd is LPRng-3.9.0
Its looks not so bad, on the client we get the printcap output with the call "ypcat printcap".
The call "lpc client pri821598" shows the following:

The script is working too:

The call "lpc server pri821598" shows an error:

When I want to print on the network-printer I get the following:

It looks like the lpd does`nt get some information from ypbind, the output is the same as when I stop ypbind.
Do you have any idea?
