Since alternatives are intended to be changed by an administrator, it is
a bug if some filters call "gs" when they need "gs-esp".  So if these
filters are fixed, as they should be anyway, then we can change the
priorities and everyone will be happy. :-)

This is really a serious problem.  I was quite surprised to discover
that I was using gs-esp when calling gv (cf bug 323867), since I had
never intentionally installed it.
