we would not like to add this to the current ESR version 128.x we have
at the moment in unstable, testing and also *stable.

I'm looking currently into 140.1.0esr which will get uploaded to
experimental as a preparation for replacing 128.x in unstable etc. soon.

Looking at your two patches it's trivial to adopt them to 140.x, the
needed additional modification to gfx/skia/moz.build is easy to adjust.
