Fantastic work!

By the way I noticed that in linux from scratch they use the same
--without-wasm-sandboxed-libraries option, but also disable sandboxing
completely for non x86-64 via --disable-sandbox. Although it seems it
is not required, I wonder if this could improve performance?

They also disable telemetry reporting, I don't know if that is
something that we could also do.
