Re: old OpenServers able to use Debian?
Adrian,
I was tempted to say "Yo Adrian!", but my younger brother's first name
is Adrian and he detests that reference, so I won't.
I will download and burn a copy of the network installation disk this
week. The systems are not with me right now (I am traveling) and I do
not have an HMC, so I need to figure out how to get into the console
and such to get the basic install started too (its been a long while
since I played with them). In as much as they are IBM OpenServers I
presume booting via USB is not a simple task and I am best served to
just burn a good old CD from the ISO?
I appreciate your fast response and its good to hear that some of the
latest Debain versions (10.x) ought to work with little issue.
Thanks Again,
Stuart
