Hi Riccardo,

I'm using a 12" iBook with a slightly different GPU than yours (R300
instead of R200 firmware), but I can confirm it works by installing
either the `firmware-amd-graphics` package or just `firmware-linux`.

As these are non-free packages which I don't think are hosted on the
Debian Ports repos, you'll have to add the following to your
/etc/apt/sources.list to enable any non-arch-specific non-free and
contrib packages (changing ftp.debian.org to your local mirror if
desired):

    deb [arch=all] http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ sid contrib non-free

After this you should be able to install the firmware as follows:

    sudo apt update
    sudo apt install firmware-amd-graphics

I can confirm the file /lib/firmware/radeon/R200_cp.bin exists on my
machine.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Candy
