Because a PowerPC Mac CPU is not the same as a PowerPC e500v2 CPU ,
it's a different, incompatible ABI and e500v2 (vulgo "powerpcspe")
binaries do *not* run on PowerPC Macs.
The PowerPC CPUs used in Macs are just one variant of IBM's
POWER architecture , there are actually a vast variety of CPUs
which are POWER but *not* PowerPC.
