Re: Debian on iMac G5

I'll have to re-install jessie and try (again).  I installed an old Ubuntu and ended up with a full graphical login, briefly.  Then the kernel crashed.

I think I saw that, too. It's not dangerous. I possibly manually
changed the links vmlinux and initrd.img in /boot to point to the new
versions. (It's always a good idea to leave the .old links to point to
something that boots.)
