Debian PowerPC and PowerPC Notebook: powerpc (32bit) - and eventually ppc64el...

Hello,

(and a happy new year for you all)

This is a follow up of the message I sent in december, from the behalf of the PowerPC Notebook project team.

After a short discussion, and some solid arguments from some of you, we will start with the powerpc (Big Endian 32bit) Debian port.
After that, If the hardware can do both without any hardware switches, we should work on ppc64el.

Now I'm contacting you again to see if we could help you with your work - on the powerpc 32bit port:
    - any packages looking for maintainers
    - packages looking for developers
    - testing
    - etc...

We might need some support in starting off our help, but we are willing and ready.

Please contact us if you think there are subjects/packages we can work on.

Thanks a lot,
and hoping to be of help.
The PowerPC Notebook project team.

(NOTE: Some of us already have 32bit and 64bit PowerPC hardware running Debian.)
