The ABI for ppc64el says it requires V2.07 or higher.

Freescale says the e6500 is V2.06, while wikipedia lists the e6500 in
the V2.07 article as compatible.

I can't find enough details to see if it has the VSX instructions required.

Altivec does not run little endian, but vsx does.
