Try to repeat my steps: Back up important data! Burn debian-8.1.0-powerpc-netinst.iso to a CD Put the CD in, connect network cable and reboot the machine Press escape on boot and then type: boot cd install/pegasos continue with choosing: 1 on prompt to start installation ... ... ... Full Name username ... ... Guided - use entire disk SCSI1 All files in one partition Finish partitioning and write changes to disk Yes ... ... ... * Xfce * print server * standard system utilities <Continue> reboot type in your username and password choose "Use default config" on Xfce panel prompt and enjoy your Pegasos.
