I don't think Chromium can build on powerpc because its javascript engine
doesn't build on powerpc. Here's a project to port it:

I'm not sure how close they are to completing it or getting something useful.

I am trying to build chromium for powerpc. I installed the
dependencies and got the source from the repos. I am getting the
following error (see below). I am thinking that the all.gyp needs
editing to allow the build for powerpc. Am I wrong?
