The question almost everybody is going to ask is what kind of graphics card do you have in your G5?  Is it dual headed?

but after upgrading, i get a messed up screen at StartX and cannot login.

same happened with ubuntu - which was very loud when installed from a mini.iso of 12.04 from 2010 - but after upgrading to 14.04 LTS 3 offered the same panorama - messed up graphic screen where the login-window used to be.


i am able with ALT+CTRL+f1 to enter terminal.

what can i do here?
