I'm Knut Lange. I installed Debian wheezy (Linux Kernel 3.16.0-4-powerpc #1 Debian 3.16.7-ckt7-1 (2015-03-01) ppc GNU/Linux) for Powerpc on an G4 Mac(PowerMac G4 AGP Graphics).

Some specifications from lshw:

-OpenFirmware 3
-CPU 7455, altivec supported
-L1 Cache 32KiB
-L2 Cache 256KiB
-VGA compatible controller RV250 [Radeon 9000 Series] driver=radeon latency=255 mingnt=8
-FireWire (IEEE 1394) TSB12LV23 IEEE-1394 Controller
