This may not be in Jessie, but I would not be surprise if the next version of testing after Jessie will be hit with this. Anyone who wants to help please grab a copy of the Ubuntu-MATE 15.04 beta2 ISO and test. If you can contribute a patch that we can test and push upstream all the better.
