Apparently something in the toolchain changed that's causing u-boot to fail to
build on powerpc. I can also reproduce it by attempting to rebuild
2014.04+dfsg1-1 in a current sid environment, which was uploaded just under a
month ago, and built fine then.

Secondly, is the ZUMA target that u-boot is building on powerpc useful? What
hardware does it support? It appears to have been marked as orphaned in u-boot
2014.07 upstream...

  $ grep ZUMA boards.cfg
  Orphan  powerpc     74xx_7xx       -           -               evb64260            ZUMA                                  - Nye Liu <nyet@zumanetworks.com>

Should it just be dropped from u-boot builds in Debian, which is the failing
target, or is there a case to be made for keeping it?
