3d acceleration

Hi all

Am I the only one who has this:
qmaster@QMHomeG5:~$ glxinfo 
name of display: :0
libGL error: failed to load driver: nouveau
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig
Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual or fbconfig

I have a G5 with  NVIDIA Corporation NV43 [GeForce 6600] (rev a2).

Tried Mesa 9.2.2 from testing and 10.1.0 from experimental.
Results are the same for both. No 3d acceleration in 32 bit, but there is a 3d 
acceleration in 16 bit.
