Hi, got the exact same error on my 2005-iBook G4.
Just adding that if i remove the /usr/lib/powerpc-linux-gnu/dri//r300_dri.so
file, the software rendered (with swrast_dri.so) can successfully start. But
it seems to often freeze the computer.
And I never got the r300 driver work successfully.
