Re: dist-upgrade failed squeeze

My dpkg & python problem that made the dist-upgrade fail seems to to related to
the bugs:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=608066
and
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=607988

I tried to purge python-reportlab and python-reportlab-accel but it was not
enough to remove the problematic files.

I forcibly removed directory /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/reportlab
and reinstalled both packages. It pulled 2 new packages
python-imaging{a} python-renderpm{a}

Then all the other packages having problems were configured.

I am not sure it was the best way to solve the problem but it did.

I am still stuck with LSBInitScripts problem.
does anyone know if I can safely remove libdevmapper1.02 ?

Thanks,

Benoit
