Bug#608384: ofpath: ata-6 (pata_macio) is not supported

Package: yaboot
Version: 1.3.16-2
Severity: important

I am running 2.6.37-rc8 configured with CONFIG_PATA_MACIO=y. yaboot doesn't find
either the kernel installation nor the osx path if set to /dev/sd?*. Setting the
image path directly to the ofpath like
/pci@f4000000/ata-6@d/disk@0:4,/vmlinuz-2.6.37-rc8 in yaboot.conf linux runs.
Setting macosx=/dev/sd?* or =/pci@f4000000/ata-6@d/disk@0:* or hd:* ofpath
doesn't find the OSX image.

# ofpath --debug /dev/sda
SYS_DEVICE=/sys/devices/pci0002:24/0002:24:0d.0/host0/target0:0:0/0:0:0:0
SCSI_DEVICE=0:0:0:0
HOST_ID=0
BUS_ID=0
DEVICE_ID=0
LUN_ID=0
PLUG_ID=0
IEEE1394_ID=
SCSI_NAME=ata-6
SCSI_DRIVER=pata_macio
SYS_PATH=/sys/devices/pci0002:24/0002:24:0d.0
OF_PATH=/pci@f4000000/ata-6@d
PART=
LUNX=
ofpath: ata-6 (pata_macio) is not supported

whereas the OF_PATH should be /pci@f4000000/ata-6@d/disk@0:

I found a hacked ofpath [0] which works but doesn't seem to be testet and
documented very well.
