The iBook panel can't display more than 1024x768, where are you getting
1360x768 from?

I doubt it's directly related, though I'm not sure what 'old qt' means
exactly.
For further help, we're gonna need to see the current xorg.conf and
Xorg.0.log files and a better description of the symptoms vs. the
desired behaviour.
