Yaboot does not handle ext4 root partition?
I installed a squeeze" system (using the sid d-i netinst image) and
just for fun I
decided to try setting root up as an ext4 filesystem.
All went well until the reboot into the new system.
It complained about the filesystem being corrupt and refused to boot.
I was able to boot into an ext3 partition by naming it in response to
the
"boot:" prompt.
I have not tried reinstalling from the same CD with root as an ext3
filesystem,
so I can't immediately rule out something besides root=ext4 as the
causative
factor, but it sure seems like it's a possibility.
Anybody else seen this?
Rick
