Lenny installer with custom kernel and localechooser

Hi,

I'm trying to build a Debian Lenny installer CD for my AmigaOne. I
decompressed the initrd of the PowerPC Lenny netinstall CD, copied the
custom kernel modules to <initrd>/lib/modules/ and repacked it as an
initramfs ramdisk. For a first try I downloaded the kernel and the ramdisk
over TFTP to the target machine and booted it with the standard Lenny
netinstall CD in the CDROM drive.
The installer boots fine, but only allows to choose between C and English
locales. On the other side I get the full list of locales, if I run
localechooser in a busybox shell. Any ideas how to get the full list of
locales in the installer?

regards,

Gerhard
