Only to confirm that with
linux-image-2.6.28-1~experimental.1~snapshot.12579 from
http://kernel-archive.buildserver.net the keyboard works ok. I only had
to issue a "echo 2 >/sys/module/hid_apple/parameters/fnmode" to get the
'fn' working mode as I wanted. 

I think this can be done with param "fnmode" of hid_apple:

parm:  fnmode:Mode of fn key on Apple keyboards (0 = disabled,
[1] = fkeyslast, 2 = fkeysfirst) (uint)
