Suspend to RAM issues with Lenny

I dist-upgraded from Etch to Lenny successfully a couple of weeks back. Everything works as expected, however there were xorg issues that were resolved by adding modeline configurations (See link).

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=429432

Lenny recently upgraded the kernel to 2.6.26 and there has been issues with suspending to RAM. The hard drive spins down but the display remains active and the machine freezes (have to turn off power manually). The last message on the display is "Suspending console(s)". This was not an issue with Kernel 2.6.25.

Machine specs are:

 * Powerbook 3,2
 * 500MHz G4
 * 512 MB RAM
 * ATI Rage Mobility M3 8MB VRAM.

Anybody experiencing similar issues?

Thanks,
Amit
