Getting airport card to work
Hello all.
I just installed debian testing on my ppc G4 mac mini and have upgraded to
unstable. I also followed the instructions for updating firmware with 2.6.24
kernels. While I have used debian for years, I have not used it on a powerpc
machine with an airport card; my linux wireless cards have been
atheros/madwifi. Now that I have updated firmware I am not getting any
errors but I can not find the steps I need to follow to get the card
working. I am able to scan with iwlist and I tried entering the essid and
WEP key with iwconfig as I did with madwifi drivers; I get no errors but
then when I run dhclient wlan0_rename it doesn't connect so I think I must
have missed a step. Also, am I supposed to rename wlan0_rename?
