Hi,

Are you sure that machine is frozen, and not simply that the console is
waiting for you on some other device ? Does the d-i kernel boot on this

machine ?

I think it is frozen because i cannot do anything. Also waiting hourswill not help. With d-i you mean debian install kernel? I installed itwith the cd and it boots with the normal kernel.

The machine is running as lpar on this host. We are running a AIX withVIOS as Hostsystem.
