This may be true for a new alubook5,8 ... it seems to be wrong at
least for my old titanium-IV: if I do not load explicitly snd-powermac
via /etc/modules alsa will not start (something like "no soundcards
found" or so ..)
Kernel is a 2.6.18-rc4 on the tibook ...
