Wireless

Hi everyone,

My Powerbook G4 12" is using linux 2.6.20. Instead of the existing wireless card using bcm43xx I bought a wireless USB using zd1211rw and they were all working fine.(I never use the two wireless cards at the same time)

Recently I run the package update "apt-get upgrade" to make my debian more up to date. After that both wireless cards didn't work at all. Below is the message using "ifup eth1". I have tried "dhclient eth1" but still the same message returned. The strange thing is both wireless cards could detect the AP using "iwlist scanning".

Sending on Socket/fallback/fallback-net
DHCPDISCOVER on eth1 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 3
receive_packet failed on eth1: Network is down
DHCPDISCOVER on eth1 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 6
DHCPDISCOVER on eth1 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 13
DHCPDISCOVER on eth1 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 16
DHCPDISCOVER on eth1 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 18
DHCPDISCOVER on eth1 to 255.255.255.255 port 67 interval 4
No DHCPOFFERS received.
No working leases in persistent database.

Exiting.

I appreciate your help.

thx,
Jones
