Re: X config on a G3 iMac

I had to do the following to get my iMac working in more than 640x480.
I left all of the resolution selections unselected, and I set the depth to 16.
My iMac is the original iMac 233 Bondi Blue with an ATI Mach 64.
I also entered the BusID as decimal; i.e 12 was converted to 18 and
entered as pci:0:18:0

Yo,
I'm trying to configure X, I'm using an iMac with the built-in
monitor. when I 'dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86' it asks me for the
BusID of my monitor. On another tty, I used the 'lspci' command to
find it, I converted it to decimal and used that, BUT, it won't let
me (Incorrect format or something), It only lets me use a single
digit. I've cycled through the config several times cycling through
0-9 but it still says it can't find my screen!!! Any suggestions?

Does it work if you leave the field empty? If not, try lspci -X.
