hi all: I'm trying to figure out how to use external display on my iBook G3 (late 2001) / Debian, so it's great to see this thread going on. The display I have is an LG L194WT, which is sold only in Asia I think. As the "W" in the model suggests, it's a widescreen LCD (16:9), with a recommended resolution of 1440 * 900. Now I'm not sure if I can reach that with my setting. I've tried an iBook G4 / OS X with it but it doesn't work (best res. I can get is 1024 * 768). Anyone has experience of using external widescreen head on older Apple laptops? Thanks in advance, Lawrence On 19/07/06, Andy Wingo <wingo@pobox.com> wrote:

Mine is also a 6,8, and works fine with swsusp2 applied to 2.6.17-rc3. I couldn't get it to work with the stock swsusp.
