Irrc, with 2.6.16 there is a name change (ppc>powerpc or powerpc>ppc,
don't remember) and you end having to reconfigure your kernel for some
options.

Btw I've built a 2.6.16 yesterday, the build went fine. I didn't test it
yet. It's for a powerbook 5,6 (powerbook g4 15").
