What's a powerbook G4 1,5 anyway? Does the 1,5 mean CPU speed or machine
type (grep machine /proc/cpuinfo)?

My powerbook (PowerBook5,5) has no USB modem. IIRC the modem hangs off
some I2C bus. There's no Linux driver for it.
