Re: applying patch



Hi Tamas,

I've just built a 2.6.12-rc2 kernel, and I got the same message as you.
I simply answered the default to all questions (i.e. [n]). Some patches
will fail to apply, but as long as you're not using the corresponding
code (my case), you should be fine. For instance adv7170.c is for the
Analog Devices ADV7170 video encoder. Unless you have one on your
machine, you should not worry about it.
