RE: Installing Debian on a RS/6000 Question

Tried both images ... still no luck.
Not booting from the CD's, it only comes into AIX.

Patrick , Sven ?

Any idea how to install linux :-)

I've read about installing the kernel on the Server first, but they all
explain how to write the bootfloppy from within Linux ... problem is that I
don't have a Linux system over here.

Nope. The F40 is a PReP machine that comes in single and dual PPC604
flavors. It's the last PReP machine in its series (the F50 is a CHRP
PPC604 machine).
