Install

$ cd /usr/src
$ tar -xjf linux-source-2.6.14.tar.bz2
$ cd linux-source-2.6.14

$ cat \
/path/to/patch/0141_powerbook-fnkey-working-for-Debian-2.6.14.patch \
| patch -p1

$ make-kpkg debian
$ dch -i
$ cp /boot/config-running-kernel-version .config
$ make oldconfig
$ make-kpkg build && make-kpkg kernel-image (modules_image)

This works perfect with an updated /etc/kernel-pkg.conf.
