2.6.11-rc(1|2)

Hi all,

I tried to build the above kernelat my AlPB15 G4. The build stops:

  CHK include/linux/version.h
make[1]: `arch/ppc/kernel/asm-offsets.s' is up to date.
  CHK include/linux/compile.h
  UPD include/linux/compile.h
  CC init/version.o
  LD init/built-in.o
  CHK usr/initramfs_list
  GEN .version
  CHK include/linux/compile.h
  UPD include/linux/compile.h
  CC init/version.o
  LD init/built-in.o
  LD .tmp_vmlinux1
mm/built-in.o(.rodata.cst4+0x0): relocation truncated to fit: R_PPC_ADDR32 empty_zero_page+40000000
make: *** [.tmp_vmlinux1] Error 1

$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.4.4 20041218 (prerelease) (Debian 3.4.3-7)

lkml gives only one thread start, nothing else:
http://lkml.org/lkml/2005/1/13/125
Anyone out there with a similar experience? does a solution exist?

Ciao
