In my opinion you won't get an answer here. There must be someone cooking his cpu at _70_°C to tell some experience. Hmm, if so, does the cpu exist anymore? Is try and error the best way to find it out? I am using the 49 degree hysterese at my 1GIG AlBook ;-) And search for the tread "therm_adt746x" in this mailing list.
