2.6. terminal scrolling speed (Re: xlibmesa-gl1-dri-trunk conflicting with X from experimental ?)

I just want to mention, that buffering the program output as long as
input is received (and the in my case 32k buffer is not full) fixes this
issue. However this introduces a delay of 10000usec on writing something
on the screen (not noticable :) 
I did this in multi-gnome-terminal (it is now also 2 to 3 times faster
on 2.4) which torsten kindly uploaded (it is in debian incoming now).

Soeren (enjoying the terminal for the first time since using 2.6)
