Something is really wrong here :

celeborn:/home/klaus# /etc/init.d/cpufreqd start
CPU Frequency daemon: no supported power management interface found.


So something must be missing in the kernel - I have no idea what ...

Is something wrong with the kernel I am using maybe ? (2.6.3-ben2 +
laptop patch from http://www.xs4all.nl/~bsamwel/laptop_mode/index.html)
