Cool. Rolf, you have the same machine as Daniel, right, could you give
his method a try, and report back ?

This is a known problem. There is no 2.4.25 yet in testing, and thus
base-installer wrongly falls back to the first available powerpc kernel
image, namely the -apus one, instead of complaining. 

This should be fixed since this evening's dinstall run, which took place
at 20h30 GMT time, provided your mirror was nicely updated during the
mirror pulse that took place afterward.

Maybe we would need some kind of documentation about this for the
debian/sarge installation manual.
