As I am not using KMail i can´t really help you with KMAIL/GPG but if
you want so send PGP/Mime and have no time to study the page you
mentioned above, you could use mutt or evolution to send encrypted
emails.
I do not know about Ägypten debian packages so you should simply follow
the compile instructions on der kmail-pgpmime-howto to get it running.
