Re: jdk for ppc



thank you, Gregory, John and Sven for your help!

Gregory's suggestion of using JITC_PROCESSOR_TYPE seems to work so
far. i've also installed free-java-sdk (with sablevm jikes and gjc),
which also work ok within their limitations... i'd love to stick to
free software as much as i can. at least, with the IBM jdk as a
fallback, i can avoid macosx (which i must admit i would probably use
if it were free: i'd liked a lot of what i've seen).

thanks again: i must say that the debppc community is one of the most
supportive and helpful one i've met ever, and i'm very happy of
joinning it. you guys (and gals) rock.
