I've got a dual 450Mz which was running a stock 2.4.26smp kernel until July
this year; I upgraded to 2.6.7. The 2.4.x kernels I used, dealt with my
896Mb RAM, using highmem. Prior to the stock kernel I was using benh
2.4.23
I have a spare partition on which I test the d-i, I'd be happy to test
the latest kernel image, if it would help.
